We begin!
Exercise books: Please bring your exercise book to school from Term 1. A new book is needed for Term 2.

Lesson Content:
Student are introduced to the theme
'Ancient and Modern Worlds' and the main text types the we will be examining. In addition, students also develop an initial understanding of the tasks they will complete.
Students have also been given the CEPA Vocabulary for this term and a secondary student example of a KWL Chart that each student will complete as a summary of their learning in their excercise books and, as a whole class example on the wall.
12S and 12B also began creating some word pockets to help them learn this terms new vocabulary.
Tuesday the 12th.
Lesson Content:
This is a disrupted day. Students recieved their grades for Trimester 1 and many were unhappy with their results! The vocabulary activity helped to keep students focus and distracted. In English, most students are improving and have improved. They can and are developing their knowledge. However, students left school at 1pm. Tommorrow is another day!
Sunday the 10th
Well, the term has begun, albeit slowly. Today there were a very high number of absentee students.
10 Students from 12S, 5 from 12A and 2 from 12B came to school. The main concept has been introduced but no more. Tomorrow is another day!
CEPA-Grammar lessons
Your teacher will send home a note to parents regarding additional grammar lesson to be held each Saturday from 10.30 until 2 pm until the first exam. After the first exam, the saturday lesson will be held every second week, until the 30th of April.
Vocabulary Fun Week 1

The objective is to make Vocabulary Pockets and Word Wheels. The Word Wheels will be completed next week.

This is a productive day!
We have final started to 'nut out' the theme...yeah!
We started with, What is a society? and, most classes have completed this aspect. I will add my definition tomorrow.
Next step, How is a society developed?
These questions are stepping stones to help develop clear understandings of what a society is.
