Week 3.

 

Sunday, began with a review of the verbs covered so far in the Present Simple and Present Continuous (sometimes called the Present Progressive): to be and to do. Then today, we added, to go.

 

On Monday, Students were given a worksheet to revise simple sentences, word order and parts of language for homework. The Present Simple worksheet was corrected during class.

 

On Tuesday we added to make  and to play (comparitive review and regular verbs). 12A completed a simple sentence construction activity for a warm up.

On Wednesday: Revision (worksheet correction and a game). Simple Present Worksheet 2 was given for homework-due on Sunday. (Attached)

On Thursday: Revision ( to be, to do - present simple)and we looked at the differences between to make, and to play. 

Ought, should & must was then introduced as they should be using this language in their Job Descriptions. (Cambridge Elementary/Intermediate Ch 33).

Week 5. 

Focus: Pronouns: Subjective, Objective, Possessive

A variety of tools were used to teach and review these grammar points. The worksheets and powerpoint used as well as some additonal ones are attached.
